Bills @ Bondi Beach, Sydney

WE wanted to go a few times but always had bad timing as they don't serve hotcake after 3pm. On OUR final day WE got one last chance to taste the Oz breakfast. On this rainy day, WE took a taxi from our apartment to the closest Bills restaurant, cost around aud13 which was close to bus fare for four adults. It was actually The first time that we need to queue for a table in this city. After a 8-10mins wait, we finally got a table. We ordered banana and ricotta honey comb butter pancakes, and Aussie breakfasts with cappuccino and mocha. The pancake was way better than what WE had in Tokyo. Aussie breakfast was impressive. We liked all the food on the plate. It would be perfect if WE did not need to catch the flight and could afford to eat ans sit longer there.

Madame Nhu @ Surry Hills, Sydney

After taking many pictures of the Opera house, HE was going to meet up HIS friend, and SHE+BroMom took 309 bus to have a super late lunch.
SheBroMom arrived at 425pm and the shop closed for break :( until 5pm. They walked around that area and waited til 5pm and finally got to eat. Turned out to be an early dinner, but luckily they werent actually hungry :P. Lunch is three dollars cheaper and the branch in food court is 5 dollars cheaper which would be around the price we paid for another pho in Chinatown. SHE+Bro ordered Pho nam Beef with tender thick-cut Tasmanian grass-fed brisket, the soup was sweet with lots of flavors and the beef is one of the best out of all the pho SHE ate. MOM ordered Signature dac biet pho, grass-fed beef prepared three way. MOM was so satisified especially the beef ball, she found it really "bouncy". HE totally missed it πŸ˜‹

Ruby's Diner @ Sydney

SHE found this famous cafe from the internet. It is really close to the Meriton Apartment in Bondi Junction. At first google map said 13 minutes walk but we we searched again it said 18mins well WE do think that WE walked longer than 13mins not sure if there is any shorter route but even if it's18mins under the sun. SHE thinks this cafe worths it. One thing SHE forgot to order is the famous chilli sauce that they made πŸ˜–. Hopefully WE can go again. HE ordered mocha but the coffee was abit too sour for him to like and doesnt taste like any other mocha. SHE ordered Afflato and SHE liked that. They displayed it nicely with some crunchy honeycomb on the side. Bro has good comment on his cappuccino as well. Mom ordered hot chocolate. Banana loaf with ricotta is nice size when you have a heavy drink πŸ˜‹. They all have a big portions of breakfast and all shared some with HER. All the food is fresh and they are so generous on the portions - one whole avocado for each dish and SHE loved it. The sussage is spicy and it tasted so good!! HE ordered BLAT - Bread, Lettuce, Avocado and Tomatoes. It's simple but it's just a perfect combination. Definitely want to go again if WE have thr chance!

Hurricane's Grill & Bar @ Bondi Beach, Sydney

WE went to Bills and figure out no hotcake available after 3pm, so WE went to Hurricane's Grill & Bar as Bro's friend claimed this is the best ribs. WE werent that hungry so we ordered Full rack pork ribs, Shortcut Sirloin, scallopes and Garlic bread to share. The ribs and steaks were really good. Ribs has a strong smokey flavor and have lots of meat. Steak was so tendor and juicy. MOM basically took the whole plate and shared some with us. SHE was so satisified which was the most important.
Scallope was very disappointing especially when Elisabeth's restaurant in Hunter Valley was so great. Initially WE were sitting outside but before we started our main courses it started raining and our table wasnt covered for some reason so we were moved back to indoor on time. WE think they should just removed table. WE liked the fact that they prepared bibs for customers who order ribs which is totally needed for HER.
