Work Life Balance
Work–life balance is a concept including proper prioritizing between "work" and "lifestyle" (Health, pleasure, leisure, family, etc.).
HIS understanding is that most of the time HE stays late working over time but boss wonders if HE is real busy and one day when HE leaves office early (HE means before 7pm) and boss thinks that HE has not much to do!
